chingay parade after a very very very boring day.

gosh. woke up early in the morning to get my house ready before arthur came. he needed to use another computer to configure the microsoft visual c plus plus shit. and of cos to complete some of the project but hell, nothing much was done except for the printf statements. and my computer didnt help much either as when i tried to install or download the software, i cant for some unspecified reason. soooo irritating.

we spent too much time on the configuring shit that in the end we had to skip maths lecture. so yeah. arrived skool at 3pm just for the IAD lecture. and speaking of that lecture, my goodness. he kept on saying it will end soon. i promise u all it will end soon. but in the end, sigh. okay lah. it did end soon but it was really a test of my patience.

and now onto the fun part. stayed back in skool after the lecture with the usual other 3 people, arthur, yan ling and kym. pohling needed to use arthur's notebook so stayed back awhile lar.

town was our next destination. and this time, we went there by bus. first time i went to town by taking a bus down from yio chu kang. very long and boring journey i must say.

once we arrived there, helped yan ling to find her formal clothes and stuff. very clever lar she. got the help of me. hehehe. in the end i think she spent about 90 plus. working ppl is equals to rich ppl.

i was very surprised after the shopping as i forgot that tonight was the first day of the chingay parade. police officers everywhere. crazy ang mohs clapping and dancing. small kids screaming at the top of their lungs. and budi from wicked aura walking past me after taking a glance at the parade. to those who dont know, wicked aura batucada or wicked aura or wa is this percussionist band based in singapore. check out their website here: http://www.wickedaura.com. they can be seen most of the time busking at orchard road outside taka or practising at a certain side of sentosa island. its a bit sad lar that they are not performing this year. especially after watching the wa wannnabes playing the same beat that wa do. crap sey. especially when they wear all white. reminds me totally of the old wa before they've changed their color combo to black and lime-green.

and yeah there was this very cute performance. i think they're irish. anyway, this irish group was the most fun-nest to watch as they are very cute. some of them were wearing this big head thingy. but all of them was holding this huge hockey stick. and they just played hockey with this gigantic ball. it was so damn funny.

and i was fortunate enough to get to take photos with the referee and one of the players.
